Rewind to Christmas

Our Switzerland trip was so exciting and fun that I almost forgot to post a little info about our Christmas at home in England.  Oops.

We enjoyed a proper English Christmas dinner - complete with Christmas Crackers (hence the funny paper crowns we're wearing).  We ate this meal a day early - on Christmas Eve - so we could enjoy leftovers on Christmas Day and make a good attempt at having everything eaten up before we left for Switzerland on the 26th.

Father Christmas (aka Santa Claus) came:
And we opened a lot of presents.

A big thank-you to everyone who sent us gifts from USA and Canada this year... We realize that what you paid in postage probably equalled (or surpassed) what the gifts themselves might be worth.
(We tried really hard not to read the customs label and ruin the surprise...)

Thanks also to those of you who got creative and sent us money to purchase things here or ordered (and wrapped!) gifts from Amazon.co.uk.  We felt really loved.
And we're still have a whoppin' good time playing with all our new toys!
